General Information

Mt. Kailash (6715m) dome shaped Holy Mountain is believed as home of lord Shiva by Hindu religion. Likewise, Tibetan Bon religion & Buddhist respect as Khang Rimpoche. In Jainism, Kailash is also known as Meru Parvat or Sumeru. Ashtapada, the mountain next to Mt. Kailash, is the site where the first Jain Tirthankara, Rishabhadeva, attained Nirvana/moksa (liberation). Since centuries, many peoples of the world pilgrimage this holy place.

Due to devastating earthquake in Nepal and Tibet border on 25 th April 2015, 12 th of BAISAKH 2072 Nepal calendar, road has been blocked for overland gateway to Tibet. Pilgrims willing to take part in the religious event at Lake Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash through Nepal should enter from Lhasa, the administration center of Tibet Autonomous Region, Peoples`s Republic of China or from PURANG (TAKLAKOT) in south western region bordering to Nepal and India. TAKLAKOT is the traditional business center for the peoples of western Nepal, and Himachal Pradesh of India before the road has developed in Tibet. Person(s) doesn’t preferred to travel with the large group size, or whose time not permitting to join with other pilgrims. The cost calculated fixed departure group join is comparatively very cheaper than the private tours, however, its more flexible and safe travelling in small group size, you might have experienced in some other trip.

The perfect and more convenient route for those busy scheduled or physically challenged pilgrims who cannot travel long distance by road. Taking a flight to HILSA, connecting Nepalgunj & Simikot. It’s just 100km south of Lake Mansarovar, the Purang County, called as Taklakot, the convenient gateway to holy Mt. KAILASH via west Nepal in less time on road travel.

Luxury and high endurance trip begins from Lhasa. If you are other than Indian national, you can come to Lhasa connecting Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu from your home. Take a flight to Khunsa airport at Ali prefecture then drive to Mansarovar (250 km).Aafter completing Kora of holy Mt. Kailash, holy deep at lake Mansarovar & the ritual puja /hawan at Mansarovar, return Lhasa.

Millions of pilgrims from all over the world come here to take holy bathe in the River Ganges’ sacred waters and perform funeral rites. Along its winding streets are some 2,000 temples, Among the others temples, Kashi Vishwanath temple called as the “Golden Temple,” dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
